Safety Watch/Hole Watch:
DCS specializes in confined space management. We support entry teams by providing expert entry supervisors, permit executors, and rescue personnel.
The Attendant Safety Watchers (often called a “Hole Watch”) serves as the most critical member of any entry team. DCS deploys on-site safety observers who fulfill all regulatory role requirements and manage necessary confined-space documentation.
Our safety watchers undergo specialized training in gas detection, atmospheric monitoring, permitting, and hazard identification. DCS supplies these skilled resources to various industries, primarily supporting process outages and plant turnarounds.
Fire Watch:
DCS serves a diverse marketplace, integrating support personnel directly with our partners’ professional tradesmen and skilled labor.
We assign trained fire watches to welding and hot-work activities near combustible materials. Our team excels in refinery settings and similar high-risk environments, where they effectively contain and extinguish hot-work sparks. Beyond suppression, our fire watches coordinate hot-work activities, manage permits, and maintain site housekeeping.
Before their first assignment, every DCS fire watch completes comprehensive training in fire chemistry, extinguisher use, refinery safety, and hot-work protocols.
Bottle Watch
The DCS Bottle Watch performs a vital function during supplied-air respirator operations. Because these high-hazard tasks require maximum respiratory protection, our personnel remain vigilant to ensure worker safety.
DCS maintains a pool of competent, trustworthy bottle watches who understand that lives depend on their expertise. We vet every candidate through rigorous coursework, physical assessments, and personal evaluations. Each watch must physically demonstrate the ability to operate both fixed and portable supplied-air systems.
Reliability defines our team. Every bottle watch completes training in Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) use and Workplace First Aid/CPR, qualifying them to serve as safety overseers for our business partners.
